Design Profile: SLOW WINE CO.
Slow Wine Co has released two new sparkling wines. The wines are made from fruit grown at their Bantry Grove vineyard, located on the volcanic slopes of Mount Canobolas (Gaanha-Bula) at an elevation of 960 metres. Planted in 1990, the vineyard supplies grapes for Slow Wine Co as well as for some of Orange’s most awarded sparkling wines.
The property has been in the Johnson family for three generations, dating back to the 1930s, and there is a nod to this heritage in the designs of these new celebratory wines.
The packaging was created by Orange-based design studio 3 Blind Mice and has been well received at the cellar door and in the trade. The launch comprised a media release and sample distribution, communication via their e-newsletter, and a casual event at Millthorpe’s Tonic Restaurant for members and guests.
Website Development: RENZAGLIA WINES

We recently launched the new Renzaglia Wines website and are really pleased with how the project developed. Before building the site, we worked with the client to define their brand proposition and establish brand guidelines. This stage is essential to ensure all branding is accurate and communicates their message effectively.
We then utilised WordPress with Commerce7, adding online store functionality along with wine club and CRM capabilities.
The success of the site stems from Renzaglia’s strong collection of images and content, as well as the seamless integration of Commerce7. The depth of the site is driven by effective storytelling. The development also included migrating existing Wine Club members to Commerce7 (offering a choice of traditional and subscription style clubs) and generating engagement through direct communication with members and their newsletter database.

A key part of our work is public relations, which remains a vital element of successful wine marketing. We craft compelling media releases and coordinate sample distribution to ensure your wines, and your brand story, reach the right audiences. Third-party endorsements, podcasts, articles, and features not only build credibility but also create valuable content for your website, sales presentations, e-newsletters, and social media channels.
Our PR strategies are designed to maximise exposure, placing your wines in front of influential journalists, bloggers, and opinion leaders. By telling your brand’s story in a way that resonates, we help elevate your profile, generate media coverage, and drive tangible results, from increased cellar door visits to higher wine club subscriptions and retail sales.

Another new site launched during the year was First Ridge. It was designed by the team at On Brand Consulting, with Commerce7 providing the e-commerce functionality.
First Ridge is located at the top of the Mudgee Valley, and the architectural cellar door and stunning views needed to take centre stage on the site. Beautiful photography by local Mudgee photographer Amber Creative ensured the site was visually striking. As with all websites, ease of visitor experience and regular updates with news and reviews were paramount.
The resulting site has been a great success, with steady online sales and a well-subscribed Wine Club, receiving excellent feedback from the client.
